We’re looking for a skilled WordPress developer to support and maintain our website on an ongoing basis. This role involves creating new pages, upgrading existing ones, and ensuring overall site health and security, especially as it relates to Cloudflare performance and protection.
Responsibilities:
- Create new pages and update existing ones to align with brand standards and improve user experience.
- Maintain the WordPress site to ensure it runs smoothly, securely, and efficiently.
- Diagnose and resolve performance issues, including page speed, plugin conflicts, and layout issues.
- Troubleshoot and fix Cloudflare-related problems, such as DNS misconfigurations, SSL/HTTPS conflicts, caching errors, or firewall settings.
- Optimize site performance using both WordPress best practices and Cloudflare configurations.
- Monitor site health regularly to prevent downtime, hacking, or other security vulnerabilities.
- Implement preventative measures to ensure the site remains secure, fast, and fully functional.
Requirements:
- Proven experience with WordPress development, including custom themes and plugins.
- Solid understanding of Cloudflare’s DNS, caching, security, and performance tools.
- Experience in creating and optimizing WordPress pages with responsive design in mind.
- Strong knowledge of website security best practices and experience preventing or resolving hacks.
- Familiarity with common performance optimization tools and strategies.
- Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently to identify and resolve issues.
